Oh Dae Su is the pseudonym of Andy, who met Sheets in late 2005, after Sheets’ sister exchanged their details, as they both wanted to work with new people and produce new music. Sheets was a drummer at the time, and Andy was a rapper in a hip hop group called Words. They both come from Reading, England.
Although at time of recording the demo, Sheets had selected a couple of samples to work with, and the piano intro of Hard-Fi’s “Move On Now” was selected. Sheets recorded live drums and cut it with the piano to make a looped sample. Andy stepped up to the mic and gave a short but true freestyle over it. The piano sample used was later lightly remixed in post-production. The track remains an untitled demo to this day.
