STATUS UPDATE
Over the last couple of years, I have picked up the bass guitar more than usual and performed in a lot of jam sessions at different locations in and around the Düsseldorf area, especially outdoors in the local parks, provided the local enforcement officers do not come to interrupt our flow. It has been truly inspirational to meet new people with similar ideals in music, and to develop the skills required to improvise with other people.
This enthusiasm continued, and managed to secure a private place to have intimate jams with friends on a weekly basis, sometimes until the early hours of the next day. Recently, I have rebuilt my home studio and relocated it to our new room to set up a more professional space to record all of the material I have written over the last 20 years, probably at the 200 song mark by now… so I look forward to maintaining this motivated drive to achieving a high standard of quality recordings and to reboot some of the old classics. I wonder how far the rabbit hole goes…

WEBSITE EVALUATION & CREATING NEW CONTENT
At this moment in time, we are currently updating the kopfschlagmusik website with new content and to include features like our new logo, designed by Isabel Paoli, and to show photography from David Harrison of Mr. Sheets.
Before heading back to Kopfschlag duties, giving the guitars new strings and buying some new effects pedals, we are rounding off the old side projects before 2020, which shall include a new artwork and video for “B Flat Theme” by Serg & Sheets, before commercial release.
Post 33⅓ EP got an updated artwork made, smashing up that vinyl as none of these tracks contain any samples cut from a vinyl record. The ease of digital sampling in our modern age.

FIRST POST ON THE NEWS PAGE
Unfortunately, we tried a couple of times to implement WordPress posts as a news feed, but it’s set up for blogs and post sorting, so we gave up and just went for this standard format. There will be no post-editing of these articles, unless noted above.
